How to Fix the Staircase at the Door for Feng Shui's Front

In the 1,000-plus years of feng shui clinics, an internal staircase in a home that faces the front door generates an energy conflict where you do not want it. The favorable energy trying to enter the home through the portal is basically overpowered by the gravity force of life energy — known as chi. This structural stalemate may bring troubles and financial ruin to people who live inside. You may apply inexpensive shui remedies to correct this problem.

The Practice of Feng Shui

Feng shui is utilized to optimize working and living spaces — basically in which anyone spends a whole lot of time. Individuals who believe in its fundamentals employ feng shui practitioners to better their working and living places in a way to attract beauty, balance, harmony and unity. Enhancements include rearranging furniture to improve the vibe in the home or office.

Front Door Conflict

With many schools of thought and philosophies about the practice of feng shui is the conflict created when doorway — also a symbol for life path and livelihood — opens on a staircase. Chi, the breath that permeates all animate beings and inanimate objects, coming down the stairs’ gravity force overpowers the chi entering the home, sending it back out the front door, and draining the home. Feng shui practices require an open, freely shifting life force through the front doorway to deliver fortune, prosperity and career achievement.

Diffuse the Chi

The cure to fix this overpowering energy that goes down the staircase begins with dispersing and diffusing it as if you had set up an invisible shield. The energy shield created by the treatment allows the chi while sending the power coming down the staircase to circulate together with the chi.

Crystal or Mirror Cure

Hang a round crystal ball in front of the staircase out of the ceiling. For decent fortune and financial prosperity, hang it by the base of the staircase and a red ribbon midpoint between the front door. The power easily moves to side, if you consider chi like water. Add a small mirror to the rear of the front doorway if dangling the crystal doesn’t function.

Note-Toned Wind Chimes

Hang a small set of wind chimes — chimes that follow a scale which work to move the power. Toned wind chimes add pleasant notes . Again, then hang the chimes out of a red ribbon midpoint between the staircase and the door. Another option is to turn the light from the foyer as it changes the power movement between the front door and the staircase and leave it around for about 3 to 4 hours a day.
