Thirteenth’s time the Appeal for Craig Fletcher and homeowners Jenine. In addition to Oregon (where They’ve lived in four Distinct houses ), Craig’s work has taken the few to Atlanta, Ga., Yakima and Bellevue, Wash., Denver, Colo., Boise, Idaho, Santa Rosa and Huntington Beach, Calif., and Salt Lake City, Utah. In May of 2011 they eventually found a traditional-style house in Tualatin, Ore. they intend to retire in. “We probably looked at 50 other houses before we found that one,” says Jenine.

Jenine and Craig removed a few trees that were overshadowing the house and killing the lawn. They reseeded the lawn and added smaller trees into the landscape. They also altered the exterior paint colour which was tan-green with glowing green walls to Benjamin Moore Aura exterior paint in Sparrow.
“We have tried to mix things and be somewhat eclectic, but our style is quite standard with a French flair,” says Jenine. The dining table was in the family for several years. The Asian screen is from Parker Furniture in Beaverton, and the chandelier came from Accent Lighting in Lake Oswego.

The spacious kitchen has plenty of counter space for even the toughest home chef. Jenine enjoys the total amount of storage and the open layout as it allows for several people to mingle in the kitchen while she is preparing a meal. Jenine intends to paint the kitchen with a new coat of white.

Craig and Jenine look ahead to creating memories with their family in their new house. “We’re still in pursuit of artwork, accessories and the right piece of furniture to fit there or here,” says Jenine.
They brought this console table with them from Atlanta. Jenine installed plantation shutters around the house.
The leopard print rug leading the way upstairs provides design and whimsy.

“I like neutrals, I like soft and I like silk,” Jenine says. The guest bedroom welcomes people with a calming neutral colour palette, sparkling chandelier and a Bombay chest out of Bella Casa, one of Jenine’s treasured shops to locate unique furniture and accessories.
The pair has a lot of pieces of furniture that have withstood their 13 moves. “When people begin purchasing furniture, I’d suggest they buy things piece by piece and buy the very best quality that they could,” says Jenine. She likes to buy staple items that have multiple uses.

The Fletchers installed red oak hardwood flooring throughout the home. Its dark blot was custom blended on the job.
