Guest Groups: Art for Children’s Spaces

Curating affordable art finds is just one of my favourite features to put together in my website, Lolalina. The online creative community has positively exploded in the past several years, making sourcing distinctive and beautiful art a real treat. This month for Houzz I’ve hand-picked 20 prints ideal for bringing creativity, warmth and personality to a child’s space. I hope you find something to love for your little one! –Laura from Lolalina

“Une Pomme” Print, Sycamore Street Press – $35

I have a major weakness for letterpress (the deep impressions on nice, thick paper create my heart beat a little quicker ), and Sycamore Street Press, run by Eva Jorgenson, is among my favorites. Eva utilizes a vintage hand-cranked letterpress to interpret her illustrations to print with sustainable inks and inks. It appears super luxurious to me to have a big letterpress print like that hanging in a child’s room, along with the French title makes it much more posh.
